To ask for your all inclusive holiday gems?

Sorry posting for traffic.

I'm planning to take dd on our first holiday next May. She'll be nearly 4. I'll be going with DSis and her 3 dc. She's taken them to Portugal and Spain in the last 2 years. She said Portugal was a lot better than Spain.

Anyway, we're trying to find a relatively cheap all inclusive either in Portugal or similar. Think no more than about £1300 for me and dd for 7 nights.

Anyone got any hidden gems or recommendations? Will be much appreciated. TIA

We've just come back from the real bellavista in albuferia. It was beautiful. It was a bit out of the way but there was a free shuttle to the old town and the beach

Depends on what amenities are important to you OP? Are you needing flat areas for buggies? Do you want somewhere semi lively or something quiet?

Comealongpond89 · 17/06/2018 18:45

Won't be needing buggies. Needs to have nice pools. Slides poss. Nice food. Dc ages between nearly 4 and 12 by next year. Close to beach or shuttle available. Kids entertainment etc

Would you consider Turkey? We went to the Grand Cettia via Thomas Cook and it was lovely. They have a discount on at the moment too.

Meercat2 · 17/06/2018 18:51

Thanks OP we are wanting to do the same so I am shamelessly watching😊

Dsis has suggested turkey. Trying to find the right place

We've just come back from sol calas de mallorca. It was very quiet but 10mins walk to the beach on a wide back strip that ran direct from hotel to the beach. Seemed a very safe place, mini shopping precient 5min other direction with a bar with mini golf outside, clean rooms, nice food. We were 2 adults but they had the kids disco on a night, decent entertainment on and €4.50 for a mini train to shuttle around the area, Driver was flagging the kids on for free with couples the day we went on it. Possibly too quiet for the 12yr old to be entertained? But it was sub £1000 for a week so a pretty nice cheap break.

Sorry meant to add - booked through Thomas Cook and flight times were brilliant.

Holiday village in Portugal - Algarve Balaia

Lots of the day excursions were really cheap and good vfm.

Check our Martinhal. They have 2 resorts in portugal. Can be pricey but sometimes good deals to be had. Think child friendly meeta boutique hotel.
