AIBU to think that sausages are not quite right?

I mean you never really know what is IN them do you?

Is there really a difference between having sausages for tea or having a tin of Pedigree Chum?

Also they are alarmingly phallic, Spotted Dick has been renamed to Spotted Richard, news.sky.com/story/spotted-dick-renamed-spotted-richard-to-spare-blushes-in-parliament-11405421

but they still sell sausages without embarrassment.

Depends, if you buy cheap sausages they probably contain minced up eyeballs and arseholes. Personally I would never buy a sausage that contained less than 97% minced pork meat, preferably free range. Would rather never eat another sausage again than eat a crap Richmonds one

I love good quality sausages. I don't buy cheap crap.

How do you ever know they are good quality though? Maybe they are actually minced arseholes and minced arseholes are delicious?

Sausages should come from a butchers wjere they are made onsite.

I tried vegetarian sausages recently and was very surprised at how tasty they were! No more arseholes for me 😂

My mother told me that when I was very small, the local butcher was prosecuted for having less than the required percentage of meat in his sausages. When the court case was reported, his sales of sausages boomed - people were delighted to find there was a local butcher who still made his own sausages.
