Post Office opening times

Hi, probably a stupid question, but do Post Offices open on a Sunday? I checked the Post Office website and looked up the opening times for my local Post Office and it states Sunday 8.00 am to 1.00 pm. I thought, great, drove up there and Martin's the newsagent which is located in the same premises was open but the Post Office counters were shut.

Witchend Difficult in ours. We only have one counter.

And thus it has to be staffed only 50% of the time or less.

The main one in liverpool city centre is, think it shuts earlier though.

None of the ones near me are open on a Sunday. This is despite the 2 closest ones stating online that they are open, I have been caught out several times because of this. I think the fact the information is inaccurate annoys me more than the fact they don't open.

Some do, yes. Check the PO website for ones in your area. Usually ones that are based on grocery shops that are open during those hours.

Prob worth a phone call to confirm though.
