How quickly would you expect email reply from 5* hotel?

I may BU, as I worked in a job where it was literally impossible to get back to emails quickly due to volume - although we still did our best to at least send a “hold” email by the end of the day if we didn’t have capacity to help there and then.

I recently booked a short stay at a 5* UK hotel via an offer (as would otherwise have been a bit out of budget). I’m really looking forward to it and had some queries ahead of stay which I sent a couple of days ago - but no reply. I’ll have to call to get info before we go which is no biggie but hoped for more given it’s expensive.

AIBU to be a bit disappointed by service so far?

Could be they haven’t seen the request? When I book via a known booking website, the “comments” aren’t flagged so they don’t see them before they manually review it which can be days before arrival.

I would say usually the next day at least.

Alas it was a separate email, via the “contact us” on their website

Sounds silly but was actually looking forwards to their reply!

When I say via contact us, I used the email address (not a contact form)

A few days at the most, depending on your query.
