To not know what I want for my birthday??

I spend most of my life depressed at how little money I have, wishing I could get this or that... the moment people start asking me what I want for my birthday, my mind goes completely blank!!!!

If you were asked what you wanted for your birthday, and the person asking had around a £50ish budget, what would you ask for??

How about choosing something that you wouldn’t necessarily spend money on because you would consider it a luxury? Something like getting a blow dry done. I mean I wash and dry my hair but someone else doing it is so much nicer plus the alone time at the hairdresser is good but I couldn’t justify spending money on that beyond x times.

Perfume for me. Which is what I've been getting for 20+ years. Still makes me happy.

I got a Yoshi meehan slouch bag in the sale, very happy with it!

Would link but onphone and rubbish!

Any part day crafty courses nearby?

Nice versions of ordinary things? (gosh that sounds dull!)

Those Yoshi bags are nice. I hadn't heard of them before.

A short cookery course, there are several 2-3 hour ones I came across in London.

Things from benefit make up.

Spa day (can get them for less than £50 on Groupon).

A trip to the cinema & meal.

Book shop vouchers.

Vouchers for the shop you'd buy nice underwear from.

An afternoon tea.

Nice makeup/skincare

Something to use in one of my hobbies/interests-- even a small something.

Or maybe a special food/dessert treat.

Nice handbag? I got one in Debenhams for £25 on sale down from £70 and it's lovely and great quality

Hamper of toiletries - whatever you prefer; moisturizer /body lotion/ hair mask/ face mask

Voucher for a massage/ manicure

I have a notebook list on my tablet. If I think of something I might like for my birthday, I jot it down (with links if applicable) then when I'm asked I have some ideas. Sometimes I think WTF did I want that for but there is usually something I'd still appreciate that I'd long since forgotten about.

Amazon voucher so I could load up my kindle. New pair of converse. New Disney mug and fancy teapigs flavoured tea bags I can't normally justify. Photo frame and some nice pictures printed out. Afternoon tea somewhere locally. Vouchers to go to the cinema. A new fun printed 50s style dress from a shop local to me.

However for my birthday 30 this year I'm asking whoever asks if they would like to contribute to a tattoo I want done on my hip/ribs :)
