Dear cat has just been desexed. She loves me...and so has decided that her recovery will be on my lap. Confused

She wont stay in her box...she cries when placed in her carrier. She only rests on me!

What do I do? We're in Oz and it's 6.00pm here...she's been home for two hours...most on my knee!

Aw poor thing needs cuddles.

I think you need a cat sling.

Why do you think you can't sit there all night? I think you're going to have to. You are her slave, after all, and, just now, she has decided your job is to provide her with a comfy place to snooze. You are entirely responsible for her current discomfort after all. Only fair you should share the burden!

HTH!!!! :-)

You'll just have to keep your legs crossed!!!!!

Seriously, though, you'd better go! As for tonight, do you think it's the being near you that's helping her, or is your lap particularly comfortable? Could you take her to bed with you, so she can curl up next to you? Or is the chair actually comfy enough for you to sleep in?

(Personally I might be tempted to sleep there, but I am rather soft. I'm planning sleeping in the kitchen tonight with the rabbits in an effort to move their bonding on, so being on a chair doesn't sound too bad to me!)
