Is MN a hobby?

I mean is it? Does it count as a hobby? Like whats the difference between MNing and flower arranging?

I don't think I'd list it on my cv

I suppose a hobby is something you do with some sort of sense of purpose, whereas mumsnet for me is sort of mindless gazing into the drama of other peoples lives? 😂 kind of like a real time, real life soap.

I look at it as a mix between magazine type reading, keeping up with the news and some information and education thrown in.

Interesting, but not a hobby.

It is very addictive though
