To ask for ideas?

DD (18) has three months off this summer, having just finished A levels before heading off to uni. She wants to keep busy and spend her time well - any ideas of how she can spend such a long summer?

Get an interesting job, I worked as a PA to a Bollywood choreographer on my gap year. Travel if she has funds, friend of mine worked as a yachtie for a summer, cleaning and waitressing on private hire yachts, she worked hard, earned well, saw some beautiful places and you get time off between charters.

Learn to type. It would help her complete uni assignments quicker as well as saving time in the future.
Get a job for some real world experience and save for uni
Volunteer in a field she might like to work in after uni, or something completely different
Learn a language
Take driving lessons and learn some car maintenance
Learn self-defence
