What does it mean when someone says for you?????

Sorry if I'm being hugely ignorant!!!!

It's a biscuit. kind of a shut up & go away & eat a biscuit msg to be given one.

It derives from Gordon Brown who did a webchat and refused to answer an innocuous question viz "what is your favourite biscuit?"

It's a sort of 'no comment' comment.

Oh I have misunderstood it the whole time. I just thought it meant 'your comment takes the biscuit'

It means that they lack any originality whatsoever in making up a reply
