To ask why one is perfect and the other is a complete twat....

Eyebrows!!!! Left is perfectly behaved at all times. Never a hair out of place, barely a tweeze needed. Cheers me up when I’m down in the dumps.
Right one however is a proper little bitch. I’ve begged, screamed, threatened and I’m getting nowhere. Inconsistent in her shape, insists on growing random thick hairs away from eyebrow area which results in actual eyebrow looking a little sparse. And what is worse she’s now in a gang with right eyelashes who no matter how much i shout and scream will not allow mascara not to clump.
Is it me? How did I bring up 2 totally different eyebrows? I’ve sought professional help but that only worked for the short term 😫

Grin I can’t post a picture as it would out me but I’ve got a mutant left eyebrow (about half way along, to the end, the hairs grow completely vertically, resulting in a big upward-pointing spike if left unchecked) so I feel your pain.

FASH84 · 12/06/2018 15:06

My left is better behaved than my right, I thought it might be because I often sleep on my right side? This is pure speculation!

KirstenRaymonde · 12/06/2018 15:08

They’re sisters not twins

MyKingdomForBrie · 12/06/2018 15:09

Mine are both twats, at least you have one!

Nottheduchessofcambridge · 12/06/2018 15:10

My right is amazing, perfectly arched,my left is a slug! 🤨 I could sit and gaze at my right all morning, get a glimpse of my left and it ruins my day. I’m wondering if it’s playing up because it’s jealous??? I can only move my right eyebrow a la Sean connery.

missbehaving1000 · 12/06/2018 15:18

@KirstenRaymonde Exactly what I was coming on to say! You're not my beautician are you?! ConfusedGrin

immortalmarble · 12/06/2018 15:19

Quite relieved this wasn’t about your DCs Smile

sunshinewithabitofdrizzle · 12/06/2018 15:33

Mine do what they're told since I had them microbladed. I think the pain scared them into submission. Wink

Both my eyebrows are perfect. Both a lovely shape.

But both completely different shape from one another Angry

Slightlyperturbedowlagain · 12/06/2018 15:55

Nb. The really good thing about getting older is realising it’s not just men’s eyebrows that start growing super-long Shock

BeyondThePage · 12/06/2018 16:09

my DD15 has a "quizzical" eyebrow - one forms a perfect arc - soooooooo perfect, the other has a little tick upwards at the end looking like she is always puzzled or asking a question.

So she asks every morning if her quizzical eyebrow is behaving today. Become a "family" joke.

drumandthebass · 12/06/2018 16:09

Same here - left is perfect and barely needs any pencil but the right one is a disgrace.

I've recently noticed that my eyelashes are thinning and getting gappy. I've been blaming the mascara but they are definitely thinning.

Is it an age thing? I am 50 Sad

ToadOfSadness · 12/06/2018 16:10

The other thing about growing older is that your eyebrows either go grey, get very thin and hardly show, or both which means that you can draw them back on in any shape you like or give up and let them get on with it.
