People don’t have hand wash (or soap for hand washing) in their toilets?

I go to various houses doing massage so wash my hands in a lot of places and it amazes me when people have no way of washing hands.

What do they do?

Yes. I just don’t get it. What do they do?

Often I’ll nick a bit of shower gel if it’s there or if not pretend I’ve gone to the loo and wash my hands with their washing up liquid

Perhaps they cleaned before you arrived, threw away old soap / nearly empty hand wash, and forgot to replace with new soap / hand wash (not that I've done that before! )

I cat sat for somebody once who didn’t have any soap. I wanted to wash my hands after touching the cat food. No soap, no washing up liquid. I ended up having to wash my hands with shampoo. The house was disgusting. I do wonder about some people.
