DPs 2 DC ( 17 & 15) come every weekend .
They both have sporting commitments on a Saturday morning at the same venue .
It’s a 3 hour round trip so he doesn’t pick them up Friday night & picks them up on Saturday morning and takes them to the venue. DCs refuse to shower at the venue (its vvvv nice) so he drives them to their house, they shower & then inevitably they have lunch there.
By the time they get back here it’s 4pm, DP & I then prep dinner & the day is then gone.
Sunday we make breakfast ( they are late risers) & he takes them back getting home around 3.30 ish depending on traffic.
I have suggested they shower at the venue as this would save 1.5 hours so we could all do something during the day i.e cycle ride, cricket etc.
