For months I have suffered from pain and stiffness in the lower right side of my back it’s slowly got worse to the point where I can’t walk down the road to the shop without being in pain. I can’t stand and wash the dishes without being in pain just trying to slice up a couple of pizzas the other night left me in pain the only thing that seems to ease it off is sitting down but then it comes back when I try to go back to what I was doing. I haven’t been to the doctors about it. My mum thinks it could be arthuritus like her and my dad I do have a curvature of the spine but that’s at the top and my left hip sits lower than my right hip and I suffer from restless legs. I also spent 2 years working as a care assistant. I know I need to go and get it checked out and I will do but does anyone else have the same problem.

Sounds like sciatica. I currently have the same symptoms as you and waking makes a shooting pain all the way from my foot to my lower back on the right hand side.
You need to go to the doctors and they can give you some nerve blockers/pain relief for it. Unfortunately I took them and it made my leg go numb so stopped taking them and looked online for exercises I could do to help it. They may also refer you to a physio to help. It does go but can take weeks or months to get better and it always comes back. Please go to the doctors xx

You can’t be diagnosed over the internet. Please, please see your doctor. Life with pain isn’t a happy life.
