....To want a nice big one?

Towels. I want a nice big fluffy towel that holds it colour when I wash it and is big enough for my big arse. And that lasts a while without getting all threadbare. Help a woman out?! 😑

Forget "bath towels" and look for something that describes itself as a "bath sheet". I will never buy anything smaller!

John Lewis, very nice

mrsb06 · 09/06/2018 20:42

I got mine from Debenhams in the sale. Bright striped ones and they are amazing.

possumgoddess · 09/06/2018 20:44

Ooo Marks and Spencers bath sheets! They are the best towels I have ever owned, and bigger than your average bath sheet too.

SoddingUnicorns · 09/06/2018 20:44

Definitely bath sheet, rather than towel. I got ours from JL in the sale and they’re a proper treat Smile

Mrsmadevans · 09/06/2018 20:44

You need the measurements at least 100 x 150 but l prefer the IKea beach towels 100 X 180 AND THEY ARE just fabulous!

Got brilliant bath sheets from b&m for £7. Tk maxx are good too.

PrimalLass · 09/06/2018 20:48

Marks and Spencer's bath sheets.

marjorie25 · 09/06/2018 20:53

I love bath sheets, so much more comfortable and covers everything.
Costco sells them.

mommybear1 · 09/06/2018 20:57

Bath sheets all the way - discovered (when I went into early labour with no bag packed Blush) Asda do some lovely ones - cheap and soft. Lovely enough to cover my pregnant behind and everything else - good luck OP Grin

EeeSheWasThin · 09/06/2018 20:57

I’ve just bought bath sheets from Sainsbury’s, they’re very nice.

TKMaxx often have a good range of lovely squishy ones.

KindergartenKop · 09/06/2018 20:58

Christie's are lush.

AnneLovesGilbert · 09/06/2018 20:59

Matalan do great bath sheets. And great linen too!

I hate a fluffy towel though. Prefer a bit of a raspy one.

BossWitch · 09/06/2018 21:00

Got given a set of m&s bath towels, including two bath sheets, as a housewarming gift a year ago. They are lush. Still as gorgeously fluffy as ever.

gigi556 · 09/06/2018 21:00

I bought some inexpensive towels at ASDA and they are fabulous. Just as nice as more expensive ones I've bought before. You can get large bath sheets from them as well.

MrTrebus · 10/06/2018 08:59

@AnneLovesGilbert you like a scratchy towel?! I am shocked and appalled 😂 I always do get bath sheets, how anyone fits more than a size 8 frame into a bath towel is beyond me! Off to check out your recommendations thank you!

Yes I like my towels a bit 'raspy' too! Good description. Soft fluffy towels with fabric conditioner on don't leave me feeling clean and dry, it's a raspy towel that does that.

mrtumblesmum · 10/06/2018 09:05

I like mine thin and crusty - dries you better

delilahbucket · 10/06/2018 09:07

I've had my Next towels for eight years and they still wash/dry good as new.

QuiteCleanBandit · 10/06/2018 09:10

I use Turkish Hammam -lovely ,soft and you can wrap them right around you.
I hate horrible thick towels and they take ages to dry.

Nanasueathome · 10/06/2018 09:11

White Company

Lanaa · 10/06/2018 09:13

I normally hate Asda but the George towels are fabulous. Better than my John Lewis ones. Cheap too.

SoddingUnicorns · 10/06/2018 09:14

Ooh yes ASDA ones are really fluffy.

Merryoldgoat · 10/06/2018 09:15

Try these at King of Cotton

www.kingofcotton.com/product.php/401/mont_blanc_zero_twist_100__cotton_550gsm_ribbed_towels

They’re so fluffy they’re almost bouncy. I wash at 60, tumble dry and they’re utterly gorgeous. I’m a princely size 24 and they make me feel completely covered.

The bed linen is also delicious.

TooTrueToBeGood · 10/06/2018 09:15

Another vote for Matalan. Their egyptian cotton towels are so thick and soft. The bath sheet 100×150 is only £15 and they have a good range of colours.
