She's really funny and I want to go on a cruise with her. However, she makes me cringe when she sings even though she's good. AIBU?

Found myself really enjoying her recent cruising series, and found myself looking up,to see where she was touring.

M just watching this. She’s quite bonkers but a good laugh.

I bloody love Jane McDonald. I fantasise about leaving my life behind and just going on year round cruises with her.

I never want to go on a cruise but I love watching her tv series. She'd be great on a night out.
The cheesy over acted singing is proper cringy though. It's like she's stuck in the 80's

Love the woman. She's so down to earth and funny. I tape it though so I don't have to listen to the singing.

I really like her even though I'd hate to go on a cruise and she bloody loves them. As soon as she starts to sing, though, the TV goes off.

It’s on now, think I’m watching 5*. She appears drunk at the minute, wine tasting and seems barely able to speak!

The singing is arse clenchingly embarrassing though. I'd be less embarrassed if it was my mum.

My parents bought me and DH tickets for one of her concerts a few years ago. We had to go because they were going to one a couple of nights later. OMG she was so funny and she recognised people in the crowd and would strike up a conversation with them like she was chatting to a mate. Her singing wasn’t that bad, tbh, I’ve heard a lot worse.

Er - I liked Victoria Wood’s spoof of her . . . All that ‘professional Northerner’ schtick drives me mad after a while.

Never really liked her till the cruising show, but i've warmed to her. Bet she'd be great to have a drink with. I've got serious envy of her job, getting paid to go on cruises. No wonder she says "I love my life"

I watched her show, and it was interesting to the point of factual, until she started singing 🙄 ffs! Really?

I knew her before the original Cruise show that made her famous and unless she's changed what you see on screen is all an act. She was horrible and stuck up then. Would look down on people and thought she was better than everyone else. This was over 20 years ago though so she could have changed.

So what's wrong with working class sole?
