To feel personally attacked.

I work in small team looking after children and this one person is always picking fault with my work. I feel that it is personal and I feel attacked.

If I suggest something or pick up on something ie dangerous things left out, that could get us in trouble he will always find fault with me on my next shift and write it in the works message book. I am good at my job and my managers are really pleased with me. I make sure the place is clean and tidy. I am starting to get upset when I come in. At my last evaluation no issues where picked up so he isn't saying this to my bosses?

Should I speak to my manager? I am responding to the messages and defending myself.

Yes talk to your manager

Yes, talk to your manager. This is bullying by somebody who has noticed you are good and feels threatened.

I will send an email later on today. Thanks. I do feel that it's because I have been quite proactive with the people we support.
