iv instead of I’ve

I seem to be seeing posters write iv instead of I’ve all the time now. Has anyone else noticed or is it bothering anyone else?

I haven’t noticed that, but what drives me absolutely insane is when people use a lowercase i when referring to themselves.
I = capital letter!!

I suspect it's where they expected their phone to autocomplete and it hasn't. That would V's my guess anyway.

No, no....no no no no no! I think it's a generational/predictive text thing where if people type it and it doesn't get corrected, they truly believe it's right.

DD does it in texts, it drives me mad. And your instead of you're. And she's educated but lazy

I haven't seen this - yet - but the one that really really annoys me is 'gawjuss'.

My phone auto corrects to that much stupid stuff I get sick of correcting and think fuck it people will know what I mean.

I feel compelled to put my SPaG badge on and flaunt my chest when I see these things occuring more and more. However my iPad and phone have taken on a life of their own since the last update and are determined to make me look like an illiterate idiot 🙄 so I'm trying not to judge
