Ok...I know I'm not but feel like a prisoner in my own home. Neighbour and their children constantly 'drop in'. I have a new baby so it doesn't always suit (feeding, bathing etc). If I don't answer the door they knock louder or walk around the house looking though the windows then they'll knock those instead. So much for letting the baby sleep or nap when he does. I've asked them to text before calling round but that's fallen on deaf ears. Angry

have you tried telling them very firmly to text or not bother coming round at all as 'dropping in' isn't working for you or the baby?

if they continue to ignore then tell them bluntly to fuck off

Laminated sign on door. Baby asleep - do not knock, pls come back later.

Bar one or two close friends I can't fucking stand people turning up 'unannounced' ! And to wander around outside looking through windows !! That is just too much ! You need to tell them outright ..it's not on. TEXT first ONLY ! Bloody hell !

The sign is a good idea...for when the parent comes too but often the children come round themselves (kicked out to give their mum peace I'd imagine) and they're too young to read Hmm My house has a strange layout-the master bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor which means the window peeping has resulted in them catching me in my knickers as I walk from bathroom to bedroom. The last straw was almost getting caught in the act with my husband AngryAngry
