I've been on the thing for about 10 years. I decided last night that enough was enough so took it off my phone.
So far today, I've reached for my phone to check the dog training group I was on, to see if there was any advice for my puppy being off her food after her first vac, wanted to check my local selling group for camping equipment and tent, wanted to ask on another local site about any puppy day care recommendations, and when I googled, the first few results for puppy daycare were for Facebook!
I'm determined not to go back on it, because I am not able to restrain myself and will end up spending ages seeing what's for sale, what's in the DIY on a budget group, reading the dog stuff that isn't relevant and probably end up having a random link in my newsfeed that I'll look at for no reason other than the clickbait title.
I have to admit, I took Mumsnet off too due to the amount of time I can spend browsing it. But I put it back on this morning, one thing at a time maybe!
AIBU to think that Facebook is not easy to just stop using?
