A colleague - someone you line manage - blatantly steals your idea in a meeting in front of senior managers..?

Do you pull them up in front of everybody or alone ...??

You vow never to share your ideas again.

Let it go. My prof once told me you'd not amount to much if you only had one idea.

It’s a big idea though which I had asked the person to implement

You probably don't bother pulling them up. They don't care.

I’d send an email thanking them for outlining your latest plans regarding x. Then go on to forward some other vital information about the plan. Copy in those who need to know.

The colleague will have the professionalism to implement it?
