Been divorced for years two kids 17 and 20. In the scheme of things this is a bit of a petty gripe really but I need to rant.
Very acrimonious hes always avoided paying what he should by being self employed and getting paid cash.
Remarried and new wife took priority over the kids they had students so the kids had to stop going in the end as no room for them.
I have had times where I have really really struggled financially.
They go on about 4 holidays a year to Thailand, NZ etc. He refuses to communicate with me.
Against my wishes DD has moved in with her 17 yr old girlfriend at her mums house before she (DD) has completed her A levels. I have posted about this previously. It’s all very difficult. Her dad has actively encouraged DD to do this.
He has never helped with birthdays and the kids have to pay him for driving lessons.
This has been going on for several months and I have asked DD to collect her things from her room as I will need to get a student to help pay the mortgage.
DD took her desk and chair with her which she bought with her own money which was fair enough but I will have to replace.
Turns out the cheeky arseholing father asked her for them and she didn’t think to ask me if I wanted to buy them from her first. I am absolutely fucking furious with him.
