Out of date food

I'm probably being a bit unreasonable because I have a severe phobia of vomiting, but is 2 days out of date too much for fresh food? (it's a free from melt in the middle pudding...thingy, it has egg in it). I feel like it'd be fine but I also don't want to be up all night throwing up because I wanted a chocolate pudding.

I'm definitely over the top upset about this because it was the one thing I've treated myself to from a shop I can't normally get to, my arthritis is meaning I literally can't walk right now and I just want a chocolate bloody pudding :(

I have the same phobia but I would eat it. Honestly. Enjoy it, you’ll be fine.

If it's something you have to heat or cook, it might be alright. If you just eat it as it, I'd stay well clear.

You'll be fine, crack on.

If you think about it, eggs have a very long shelf life anyway. They don’t even have a ‘use by’, just a best before.

I think it will be ok.

I have Emetophobia too and probably wouldn't eat it but that's only because I'd be too anxious.

Another option is to make 'Microwave Chocolate Cake' as it always comes out like chocolate pudding and takes two minutes to make.

You'll be fine

It's fine I eat yogurts older than that
