Bfp on nexplanon?

I’ve been on nexplanon just over 2 years now, only problem was bleeding erratically but wasn’t too bad.

For some reason I decided to take a cheapie hpt, ‘clear response’ £1 for 2. I’ve got very very faint lines on them. I took a FRER earlier and again got a faint positive. I feel like I’m going crazy as everything I’ve read said it’s practically impossible to get pregnant on nexplanon - 0.05%?

I started bleeding today although it’s not heavy, although really don’t want to see GP as I know their test will come up negative either way, I even got negative blood tests when I was pregnant with my daughter up until I was around 10 weeks gone.

I’m not sure what to make of this or what to do next, has anyone got any advice?

My only advice would be do see your GP as I believe there is an increased risk of an ectopic pregnancy....I have nexplanon too and was told it's very reliable so I would be surprised but of course nothing is 100% effective.

Im sorry but I cant see a faint bfp on those tests.

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 03/06/2018 15:30

I can see a faint evap line but nothing more

emmapemma91 · 03/06/2018 15:33

These are different tests btw, what’s the chances of evaps and more than one ?

Those tests are chucking out faint lines at the moment.
Don’t trust it.

Ectopic pregnancies are faint. Please see your GP.

Nexplanon is supposed to be one of the most effective forms of contraception, but it's not 100% so it is possible to get pregnant.

Is there any colour in the lines? It doesn't look like it from the photos but my eyes aren't great. In which case they would likely be evaporation lines. If there's colour in the lines they could be a BFP.

If you were pregnant do you have any idea how far along you could possibly be?

emmapemma91 · 03/06/2018 22:55

I’ve done a few tests over the last two days and they all have very faint lines, but definitely colour in them.

I have irregular periods but at a guess id only be around 5 weeks.

I’ve had loads of positives just before my period mine are caused by ovarian cysts, they give of the same hormone
