Hi I put this here for the traffic hoping to get more responses.

I am looking relocate somewhere in England. I am not tied down to where I currently am and need a fresh start due to personal reasons.

Ideally new area must have

Big NHS hospitals/private hospitals for work or atleast a reasonable commute to one.
Affordable housing-- I would like to buy rather than rent.

A good community feel/has a bustling town nearby

Good schools

Help?

Thank you.

Why “a bustling town nearby”? Why not just live in the bustling town?

Where have you lived already and what do you like about there? Most major cities have access to large hospitals. Midlands is good for quality of life and relative affordability.

Somewhere near Newcastle, you’d get all of the above.

Do you like cities? Countryside? Coastal areas?

What would you prefer?

CMOTDibbler · 03/06/2018 09:31

There's loads of places like that, so you need to be a bit more specific - for instance, house budget, any specifics on services at the hospital (would one large hospital be enough or do you want a choice), living in a village/small town/ larger town/ suburbs, any preference on being near sea/ hills and so on.

Manchester

Thanks for the replies so far. The country side would be nice.

In terms of work my speciality is in high demand. I just want an area with a few nhs or private hospitals so that I have options.

So far from doing my own research the midlands and up north seems to have all of the above. I just haven't pinned it down to a specific town or city.

Somerset, hospitals in Taunton, Bristol, Weston-super-Mare over this side expect places like Yeovil also have some

Yorkshire and Northumberland are beautiful. I'd say Northumberland is probably cheaper to live in. Both are close to cities/towns that have hospitals
