Anyone else always a child in their dreams?

I am 35. I dream about a huge variety of random stuff, no other recurring features, except I am almost always a child/young person.

Seem to always be in the 8-18 age range. School (both secondary and primary) appears a lot as a default setting even when the actual dream is nothing to do with school. Likewise my childhood home.

This isn’t a recent thing, it has always been the case. It’s normal dreaming for me. Like my unconcious mind hasn’t realised I’ve grown up Hmm

Anyone else?

Mine almost always contains a house with rooms to explore.

I'm usually always whatever age I actually am. If I dream I'm a child then it's a nightmare.

My dreams have lately become very specific about my age, early 60s, and often revolve, at least in part, around this fact.

I often dream, usually anxiously, about houses. A recurring aspect of the dream is that I have a house somewhere that I've forgotten about.

The house dream does seem to be a common one, I get house dreams a lot too (childhood house!) often with hidden attics and cellars!
