I swear my 18 y/o DS's back is like this. He's severely disabled and just thinks I'm hurting him when I've got one, so I leave it alone.

Imagine that, it's like they're winking at he sometimes, but I don't want to hurt him. He wouldn't understand me explaining it. So I just leave it be.

He's been on antibiotics for acne for years, but his back is a different story, massive, ripe blackheads.

I get spots but they’re always angry red under-the-skin ones rather than big blackheads you can properly pop. I wonder if I could cultivate a patch somewhere inconspicuous (yes, I know I’m disgusting).

Ooh that was grand! What annoys me with these is that they just keep dotting about from area to area randomly rather than clear a section then move on. Seems hard to fathom how someone could let their face get like that without doing anything about it as it crops up though.
