Drone

So we are on holiday in a fabulous Italian town. We were quietly enjoying the view from the balcony yesterday evening , having noticed another holidaying couple had arrived next door.
Suddenly our meal was interrupted by a buzzing noise . I looked up and a bloody drone was hovering about 6ft away , watching us: it was there about a minute , then flew higher. We quickly realised it was the bloody new neighbour! I was outraged, DH didn’t want to cause a scene.
So waking up this morning I am wondering if there will be a repeat today or whether he will take his fucking machine elsewhere.
If he doesn’t do I :

A) throw an olive at it , deliberately missing it and Give him a bollocking ( preferred option)
B) Throw said olive and aim to hit it maybe without shouting
C) Seeth quietly and not cause a fuss but then not use the balcony ( probably DHs )
D) Ask if I can have a go then deliberately crash it into a wall.

The properties are holiday rents with a variety of owners so can’t just go and ask someone else to deal with
Really hoping that I will not have to use any of these options and FNDN will not use his stupid machine in a very built up area . Not sure what the law is about these things in Italy.

2, but replace olive for brick.

That would be illegal in the UK, there is a distance limit around housing. No idea about Italy though. Those stupid things are so annoying. People are often flying them over the beach here, it is not usually very long before someone threatens to chuck a rock at it.

Keep a towel handy and sneak up and throw it over the drone!

It'll be a lot cheaper to replace the towel than to fix the drone Smile

Update: . I found out on the web it is illegal to use a drone within 50m of a house. A criminal offence. I went round next door to confront them but it appears that they were staying Air B and B for the night and have left. The owner was there and didn’t appear to think much of it either. Hopefully gone for good!
