To think that £ 43 is daylight robbery for a replacement exam certificate?

I've lost my GCSE certificate s due to foolish youth and moving house etc.I am 40.
I need them....but £40 for a replacement...per subject???!!!

All they have to do is print them out.aibu to think they are having a laugh?

I can't believe you still need your GCSE certificates! I have no clue where mine would be and have never been asked for them.

There's an awful lot of infrastructure behind that "just printing". Especially since the exam boards have changed a few times over the years (mergers etc).

What do you need them for? I haven't needed mine since I started sixth form. If it's just to complete your personal records I wouldn't bother.

Is there an option to request an overall transcript rather than individual certificates?
