Aibu to think that a Grandparent shouldn't forget that they are going to see their grandchild but defo wouldn't forget if they were seeing the other grandchild?

What?

Basically we invited grandparents over for the afternoon to spend some quality time with our DD because it's usually a quick visit and thought it would be nice for them, dp calls last night to see if they are still coming and she said she forgot and has made other plans but I know full well that they wouldn't forget if it was his brother's child, it's not really aibu it's more of a would this annoy you? I'm quite hurt by it if I am honest! For what it's worth I've been accused of stopping them seeing dd before which wasn't true xx

Yeah before i read your last line i thought it sounded like you make visits really short and now on this one occasion decided that "quality time" was permitted.

No defo don't make them short, it's just the timings ( they come in the evening ) they go when they want to, what would you do? Would you be annoyed? I'm so hurt but for my little one xx
