Hi this is my first post, tho lurk regularly! So firstly I love my kids to bits but they just drive me crackers sometimes. I have dd 10 ds1 9 and ds2 is 3. This week they've been off school & ds1 has asked & asked to go to a trampoline park, so yesterday found nearest one about 30 miles away & after a struggle getting DD to get ready we went there, it was booked up when we arrived so we bought tickets for the next session and went for a walk round for an hour while we waited. Then ds1 & DD kept fighting hitting & kicking each other, so was constantly having to break them up, dd's phone died, & well that was the end of the world, she just sulked & kept asking to go home. We got bk to the trampoline park & dd absolutely refused to go on. Then ds1 wouldn't go on by himself and ds2 had a paddy then because he wanted to go on but he couldn't as they have to be over 5! Just felt like crying, however pulled myself together & just said let's go then. I would love if this was an isolated incident, however it's all the time no matter where we go, there is an issue with one or both or all of them! Last year we booked a little holiday & when we arrived they said they didn't like the room, it was boring, everything there was rubbish and they wanted to go home! ...so yeah as I say I am just dreading the holidays! We want to book another little holiday but think what's the point?! I see other families out with their kids & they just seem to throw themselves in & enjoy themselves, & there's mine scowling like I've forced them down the pits or something! Sorry for long post but just wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar? Or have I obviously failed miserably somewhere along the line!
