Women's aid risk assessment

I'm about to go into a refuge and they're gonna phone me back to do a risk assessment.

What do they mean by "standard, medium and high risk" is high risk someone who's being beaten or about to?

He pushes me, gets in my face screaming and throws things at me but hasn't hit me yet. I'm really scared and I just need to get away.

Hi OP so sorry you’re in this situation. I can’t really help with your question about what the levels of risk mean but just wanted to say I have had domestic violence risk assessment done by the police a number of times. It’s part of the process for keeping you safe. They will probably just ask you a number of questions about his behaviour/history of abuse etc and then use these to decide on the level of risk which then helps them make decisions about what support you need. It’s nothing to worry about.
I know you must be absolutely terrified right now. Do you have family/friends around to support you?
