Sorry all posting for traffic as really worrying
6 years ago I was diagnosed with IIH, I was discharged after 5 months following lumbar puncture and a very short time on acetazolomide.
Last Saturday I went for a routine optitions app, the swelling is back with a vengeance. I also have quite bad sickness which I had not realised was a symptom of this.
I had an emergency refferal to the eye clinic which I had today. They are refferring me to neurologist and MRI. Because of my diagnosis 6 years ago, the Dr said she wasnt concerned even though my eyes are very swollen and a video was taken due to them pulsating.
My question is, will this be an urgent refferal or will it be classed as routine? I'm getting quite worried now!
