To wait until next week to have this seen by a Dr?

I’m 41 and about 3 stone overweight, which I am working on. I A few months ago I noticed a sore on my right breast, in the middle of the breast about 2 cm from the nipple — nowhere near any part of my bra that could be rubbing. The sore was about 2 cm long. It healed but there is still a mark there. Then about 2 weeks ago I noticed another sore but this time on my left breast, a few cm below the nipple. This one is slightly larger than the first, but only slightly. It had scabbed over and then a few days ago the scab apparently got stuck to my bra and when I took off my bra the scab got torn off. Now there is this kind of wet oozing spot. It doesn’t look overly red or infected but it seems to go down through several layers of skin. I’ve been keeping it clean and covered, and using antibiotic ointment.

It will be a huge faff to see a Dr while my kids are on half term, if I can even get an appt. Does this seem like an urgent issue or can it wait til next week? And WTAF could be causing this??? Dr Google is no help.

I would see a doctor. It could be psoriasis or eczema but it could be something else, too. If it's too much trouble going this week, book in for Monday.

It might be a fungal skin infection. If the bra is holding sweat against your skin then that provides a great environment for a fungal infection too. Get the GP to check it out but I wouldn't say it is an emergency that needs an appointment this week if you are otherwise feeling well.

You could always ask the pharmacist
