I have a job interview today. I’m extremely nervous. It’s very hot here, is not wearing tights a big no no?

I would not notice at all if someone wore tights or not.

The only thing I notice is whether someone feels comfy in their skin or in their clothes - the interviewee who wore very low-cut/open top but then kept hoiking it around to stop flashing us did give me pause. We still gave her the job as she scored the highest!

If you were dripping sweat or slipping around in your seat due to being roasting, I might wonder about common sense.
But I have very little myself so I wouldn't hold it against you.

Would absolutely not notice bare legs whether plucked or hairy.

I know some workplaces have strict dress codes though so if theirs is available it might inform your choice.

I had an interview yesterday and didn't wear tights so I hope it's not a big no no! I met the hiring manager in reception, walked with him to the room and then set opposite him at a table. I think he'd have been hard pressed to figure out if I was wearing sheer tights or not in that minutes walk. Wear what you are comfortable in and good luck!

Good luck!! I interview frequently and I wouldn't even notice!!

Though it was a bit odd the day a woman turned up with a knitted jumper that was oversized and a bit scruffy, with a big horse face in the front - very odd woman, she didn't get the job ! Listen as you leave the room .... my colleague for the above interview (a surgeon, a species not k own for tact and diplomacy) looked at me and said 'what the fuck was that' ... she must have heard!!
Hopefully they won't say that to you though!

Thanks all I don’t think the lack of tights mattered will wait and see. I’m laughing at the horse jumper though
