Checked into hotel room at 3pm. Within 10 minutes DS discovered a pair of thong knickers behind curtain (whilst searching for treasure hunt).

Complained to front desk over an hour ago. Still waiting for manager to call me back. AIBU to be disgusted? It’s a bloody family room in a family hotel.

It's a bit shit but what do you want them to do? Easily missed when cleaning and the room would have had a quick hoover and change of sheets. It's a thong not a dildo.

LoudestRoar · 29/05/2018 16:14

What are you expecting a manager to do? Did the front desk not apologise and remove them?

ummmgrossdissapoint · 29/05/2018 16:19

No no one has removed them ....

At least YOU found them. My friend's 5 year son found a 'thong' at recently divorced Uncle's house. 5 year old came into the living wearing the red lacy number ON HIS HEAD and complaining it was a rubbish eye patch and could someone tighten it for him.

SaucyJack · 29/05/2018 16:36

What's the relevance of it being a thong? Would it have been better if it had been a pair of nice big mumsy Sloggi apple catchers.

mynameyourname · 29/05/2018 16:39

The fact that they’re undies is rank, but I don’t understand how a thong in a family room is any more shocking than my
M&S cotton bikini pants would be Hmm

SimonBridges · 29/05/2018 16:46

It shows that the room hasn’t been cleaned properly but it would be just as bad if it had been a sock or a pair of big knickers.
Some people who are mothers wear thongs you know. Family and thongs are not mutually exclusive.
(Not that I would ever wear a thong)
