Who is currently up a ladder painting the house. Our house that needs painting. Hubby is being a complete arse, rude and down right nasty to me (i wasnt even nagging him or anything!)- I ask him why... apparently the ladder is dodgy and he is scared of heights-quite why this means he has to take it out on me is beyond me.

go out and leave him there.

LoveMyGirls · 19/05/2007 17:13

dont tell him your going either

LoveMyGirls · 19/05/2007 17:14

Then when he is horrible later you will actually deserve it.

RedLorryYellowLorry · 19/05/2007 17:14

He's shitting himself and trying to make out he's not by being arsey with you. Tell him to take a chill pill or you'll kick the ladder out from under him

Oh go on [evil cackle]

RustyBear · 19/05/2007 17:19

Actually I sympathise with hubby (especially for being called hubby....) I get bad tempered when I'm scared. Can't you hold the ladder for him?

HonoriaGlossop · 19/05/2007 17:37

Or paint the house yourself? Or go out and buy a new ladder for him?

I'm tetchy when scared too.

dionnelorraine · 19/05/2007 17:46

Bless him. Scared yet manly and grumpy!

PinkTulips · 19/05/2007 18:08

i get very grumpy when i'm nervous too, try and be understanding.

he's facing his fear to do something constrictive and save ye shedloads of money, be nice
