To admit that I secretly like popping spots (TMI warning)

NC as this is my dirty little secret.

Just sitting down and had a slightly itchy back. Reached back and felt a small lump on my skin, poked it and felt a pop. Brought my finger back to see about a tsp of cheesy, white stuff all over it. Obviously the lump was a cyst that I hadn't been aware of. I've looked at my back in the mirror and all is fine, but AIBU to be slightly sad that I didn't actually see it pop and to find the whole thing very satisfying. Basically, am I disgusting...? Blush

Go to Sporners Corner. One of the sub boards on here.

dontticklethetoad · 28/05/2018 16:02

Yes, sporners corner is definitely for you.

placebobebo · 28/05/2018 16:03

Sporners corner will welcome you with open arms as one of their own Grin

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 28/05/2018 16:03

Nope, loads of people are into this. You can watch videos on YouTube of people popping spots.

Yucka · 28/05/2018 16:03

It's funny cos I love a good spot squeeze but only mine or my kids/dh.

I would literally puke if I saw it on you tube

dementedpixie · 28/05/2018 16:08

watch Dr pimple popper on YouTube

dementedpixie · 28/05/2018 16:09

I like watching blackhead ones and lament the lack of any for me to pop

Aridane · 28/05/2018 16:14

Nah -not pimple popper, too much chat and local anaesthetic, too few pops for your buck

Yucka · 28/05/2018 16:15

I've found Sporner's Corner! It's like the end of ET or Cocoon, and I'm being beamed back to my own people... Grin

I love it as well. Had one behind my ear recently and when I squeezed it audibly crunched. Amazing.

Violetshift · 28/05/2018 16:18

Actually makes my mouth water

reallybadidea · 28/05/2018 16:20

Ledkr I'm exactly the same. I've been involved in lots of evacuations of juicy boils/abscesses, which I initially thought would be amazing to watch. I actually just found it utterly gross.

KC225 · 28/05/2018 16:25

I miss my daughter's light head lice attack. She had it three times - not badly (I know its grim, I'm not proud) I loved the hours combing through her hair with the nitty gritty comb. She did too. My DH called us a couple of chimpanzees. Catching the slippery little sods and drowning them in Treseme bath was great. We would count them up at the end.

reallybadidea · 28/05/2018 16:45

Ooh I used to love making the nits pop between my thumbnails. A tiny bit disappointed that my kids seem to have grown out of catching them Blush

findingmyfeet12 · 28/05/2018 16:47

My dh saves any spots for me. As a treat I get to check his back and squeeze any spots.

TheMonkeyMummy · 28/05/2018 16:51

@KC225 I like to squash the little buggars between my nails. The crunch is incredibly satisfying...

wibblywobblyfish · 28/05/2018 19:08

I actually bought a spot popping kit after watching lots of sporn. It's my favourite thing ever and you get a really good view of the blackheads and blocked pores exiting the pores when you use it.

lifechangesforever · 28/05/2018 19:09

I adore bursting spots and even better, watching videos of people bursting big cysts online 😍
