My friends just come round for a catch up. She has had her hair dyed and cut exactly like mine.

My hair is a vibrant red not a very common colour. I feel a bit Hmm about it.

She has said she didn't know what colour she was getting it dyed and asked the stylist for something that was a rich colour.

I don't know I I should be annoyed or not but I don't think it's odd. Also why get the same style??

Isn't this the highest form of flattery....or Single White Female (movie)??? ;)

Didn't you ask her? Like "hahaha did you take in a photo of me?"

I was a bit in shocked tbh.
I said you've had your hair done and then she started staying she didn't realise it was going to be the same colour as mine and she didn't know what she was going to end up with that colour.
She obviously realise it's weird and tried to rationalise it but I've never been to a hairdressers and said dye my hair I don't mine what colour. who would do that Hmm
Maybe I should take it as a compliment but I don't see myself as the kind of person someone would want to copy. I'm not exactly fashionable or anything. I'm a working mum with 2 kids my general look is ragged mum trying
to get everything done. No something
I would think my single younger friend would aspire to achieve.
I don't get it. I will now feel weird if we go out with matching hair colour and cuts. Maybe I'm being to conscious about it ........
