Help!!
My kid has just been to the toilet 4 times with a real upset stomach and is saying her stomach is really sore. She's got her birthday party today, Aibu to cancel?!

Could it be excitement/nerves?

00100001 · 26/05/2018 10:23

Of course Yanbu

InspMorse · 26/05/2018 10:24

Excitement? Nerves? Has she eaten anything this morning?

sparklyvino · 26/05/2018 10:25

I don't think nerves, she's only 3 😬 she's normally high as a kite when she's excited.
I think I would be annoyed if I went to a birthday party and someone was sick

She's had her usual breakfast, nothing different at all

Is she pale? Clammy, sick, Diarrhea? Lethargic. Then she most likely has a bug.

Or does she just have tummy ache & thinks she needs the toilet? Could be nerves.

Looneytune253 · 26/05/2018 10:37

See how she goes. It may just be excitement. I wouldn’t cancel the party. You will most likely have to pay anyway so let her friends enjoy it and I’m sure they’ll still send her some pressies to enjoy.

AllMYSmellySocks · 26/05/2018 10:40

Is the party at your home or a venue you've already paid for? If the latter don't cancel just see how DD is and don't go if it's a bug.

sparklyvino · 26/05/2018 10:46

Party is at home. She's in the shower just now. She's only 3 so I don't think it's nerves, she was at nursery yesterday and there's a bug going around just now. Don't know if I'm just adding 2+2 together though 🤨

Ah that makes it different then. If you know there’s a bug going around, best thing to do would be to cancel. Poor bairn.

yikesanotherbooboo · 26/05/2018 18:04

Oh dear, cancel.

Confusedbeetle · 26/05/2018 18:08

Cancel it, do it another day. You will only infect the others they wont thank you

Crunchymum · 26/05/2018 18:10

What did you end up doing OP? (My emetophobe self is praying you cancelled)

Glumglowworm · 26/05/2018 18:26

Hope you cancelled it, but I hope your DD is feeling better!
