I've had some wines. Feeling grand. Is a 3km run a bad idea? Hubs not keen but I reckon I'm good for it Grin

Stupid idea

Injury or accident waiting to happen

Sittingintgesun · 25/05/2018 20:26

I always run faster when I've had a glass of wine. Fact!

Just make sure you're no where near busy roads.

In a field yes and take some ribbon

recklesslove · 25/05/2018 20:29

Don’t go! You won’t be able to judge danger in the same way eg. Car speed, rocky paths etc

Cauliflowershower · 25/05/2018 20:30

My 10k pb was achieved when tipsy Blush
But take extra care crossing roads etc.

We had a few drinks a number of months ago and ran out do wine and so dp who normally is a runner. He ran to the local off licence for alcohol and ran back with a bag pack it was about 5k total and he said he was full of energy

yellowmellw · 25/05/2018 20:38

Just want to ask why do you want to run after a few drinks instead of maybe burning some energy off with your dp Wink and yes I might have had some wine also

stayhomeclub · 25/05/2018 20:42

Go on, you’ll enjoy it and be able to go for miles! Just take care, stay away from roads and uneven ground.
