Scrolling through my Fitbit and I came across last Friday’s dashbaord. Best day I’ve ever had in Fitbit terms. Involved a 12k morning run and then lots of walking to after school activities in the afternoon.

What are the stats of your best day?

Good one!

What was your activity that day?

London Marathon!

Seriousquestion09 · 25/05/2018 19:43

Have no idea how to find old dashboards but had pretty impressive days in March when on holiday in Rome involving lots of walking and running!

And the steps

You click on the days and it should open up the detail.

Calories not really relevant to a comparison thread because we all burn differently ie I’m very skinny so calories burned lower than someone much larger doing the same activity but havinf to work much harder for it.

I did 22k steps last year packing for May half term holiday! My fitbit has now died but I'm sure I'll do the same tomorrow. Also once did 28 floors of climbing when we had been scrambling over rocks in a French beach resort.

WantingMuchMore · 25/05/2018 21:35

I almost ran two :)

wow thats impressive! i don't understand how i covered so many floors.....greenwich to the mall....hardly mount snowdon! there was a hill up to greenwich from the station and a few sets of stairs on the underground. but not that much!

WantingMuchMore · 25/05/2018 22:04

@RunMummyRun68 was it a windy day? Or did you swing your arms a lot? Driving with the window open you can record several hundred flights in an hour :)

RunMummyRun68 · 25/05/2018 22:06

it was 4 weeks ago in 26 degree heat! not so much as a breeze!! maybe some arm swinging going on,could that be it? how odd

Oldraver · 25/05/2018 22:08

Mine's on my phone and I MN using my laptop so not sure how to post..

I have got up to 31,000 though averaged between 20-30,00 in my old job

New job (where I am absolutely sure I do more walking/steps) I average about 16-19,000.

How do these things work ? Old job lots of walking, but lots of moving of arms (packing books into boxes). New job lots of walking but carrying trays, so arms not moving half the time

WantingMuchMore · 25/05/2018 22:11

Could be! I'm reliably informed it tracks changes in air pressure, so a good few gusts (caused by an arm swing or twenty-five) could account for an abnormal stair count

Mumathon · 25/05/2018 22:18

Here’s mine, also London Marathon but last year’s.

Not really high on the steps but I go boxing once a week and checking my Fitbit after wards really spurs me on!

My best was Snowdon - about 33000 steps and nearly 300 floors.

fairgroundsnack · 26/05/2018 20:08

Garment rather than Fitbit but here you go - it involved an ultra marathon!!

My best day was 26,661 steps. Nothing compared to some of you. I generally average around 10,000-11,000 per day, so it was good for me. Grin
