We currently have abortions in the uk however you cannot get one in Northern Ireland because you can’t get people to staff the clinics hence abortions are pretty much banned by default

I think this sadly be the outcome they will vote yes but it will prove difficult to maintain staffing levels get planning for clinics ect ect

That’s not why you can’t get one in NI. It’s because the 1967 Abortion Act was never extended to NI and so it still is a criminal offence under the 1861 Act.

Abortion is illegal in Northern Ireland which is why you can't get one.

We have all the facilities in place for them because when you have a miscarriage they use the same tablets and procedures but obviously they are only used when theirs no foetal heartbeat for legal purposes

Abortion is illegal in NI, which hasn’t changed because Westminster are too chicken shit to deal with Stormont and give women over there the same rights as the rest of the U.K. It was only last year that it was made free for NI women to have abortions on the NHS on the mainland.

The Republic of Ireland is voting, hopefully the outcome will be the repeal of the 8th amendment - but this will not impact NI short term at least.

If Ireland votes the right way it will increase pressure though on NI to afford its women proper choice, but as Angelo says that will mean Westminster standing up to Arlene Foster and her gang.
