I am a massive Kendrick fan, I have all his albums and mixtapes. I tjonk he's a musical genius. However... He calls up a white woman on stage during one of his gigs, during one of his most 'N' word songs, for her to rap along, and then publicly shames her for using said word?! AIBU or does this sound like he's set her up here?!
When I'm at home rapping to his music, I don't censor myself, nor would I if he invited me onto stage with him during one of his most explicit tunes. That's very different from dropping the 'N' word into everyday conversation or rapping it in public in any other situation.
I think I've lost a bit of respect for him in this situation, and it makes me.a bit sad!

He set her up. I loved his music but have gone right off him after this. He asked her to do it. He did not add any provisos or conditions.

How disheartening - I always thought he was so down to earth, a "normal" guy. But this has publicity stunt written all over it. He didn't need to too.

He totally set her up. I was a fan of his too but I don’t think I’ll be supporting him in future.
