Procrastination at work is a thing - I just googled and was surprised at all the hits. You could be feeling overwhelmed and thinking 'I'll never get all this done' and so don't even try; you could be worried about a task that is unfamiliar so are putting it off, etc. I used to be like this but am not nearly as bad now.

What helped me most was actually being at risk of redundancy - when I found out that loads of us were going to lose our jobs I realised how good my job actually is. I started ploughing through my in tray like nobody's business and tried to find the worst jobs I had been putting off and do them, and each one turned out to be nowhere near as difficult as I'd been expecting.

Hopefully you won't have to go through that to realise your job isn't as daunting as you maybe think!

Of course you might not be the same as me - but I hope that helps a bit.

I was so overwhelmed in my last job that the only thing that helped me was moving to a less pressured role (but rather nicely it was better paid!) where my previous workload was split between three team members. I now get much more done! It’s very weird! It is like I can finally focus. That probably isn’t helpful, OP, but I used to feel like a rabbit in the headlights at work most of the time.
