To ask for help with candy alise washer dryer

Just got a new washer dryer yesterday.

I set it on a rapid wash (30 mins) and then a dry but it's changed itself to a wash of over 3 hours.

I can't see anything in the booklet about changing the cycle while it's running, but can I change it to a shorter cycle?

The dry on mine usually says 3 1/2 hrs after a quick wash. It then weighs the washing and reduces the time accordingly. Still sounds as though it’s washing but it’s pumping the water out.
Failing that, just switch to off position and then reset after a couple of minutes

Thank you! I worked out it was on dry rather than wash and cancelled the programme and it was dry.

I've got a washer dryer make Candy. Basically my Mrs is saying that it takes ages to get clothes dry. She is not sure if she is doing everything right (programs etc). Is it normal that to dry the clothes it will take for washer dryers around good 3 hour to make clothes dry?

My Candy Alise washer/dryer, the washed clothes are coming out very hot and creased, I am only using a 30 degree wash. Has anyone had this happen to them please?

You can reduce the drier time. I have s candy washer/drier. When I set it to dry it says 3 hours, if I press the dryer button repeatedly it changes until I get it to an hour for example which dries towels etc.

I have this model, I hate it with a passion! I didn't have a say in the purchase ( my ex bought it ) but I am so glad I kept hold of my old tumble dryer - I do a rapid 30 then shove it in the tumble. I haven't got the time nor the patience to wait longer than an hour for clothes to dry properly!

How do I set the candy (unit is gs w 4106d but similar to other combo washer/dryers) to dry only. Items were still damp after wash and dry cycle completed. Thanks.
