Can anyone help me understand nursery/reception schools admissions please!? I'm really confused, I'm in Wales if that makes any difference.

DD will be 2 in July. When do I apply for her place? I hope it's not this autumn because we don't know where we'll be living!

Google the contact number for the admissions office in your local education authority area and give them a ring.

That’s what I did when we moved back here after living abroad with a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old.

You will apply next autumn (2019). Your council will send you details of the schools in your catchment and dates of when applications close and how to apply. Alternatively google your county councils name and admissions.
