there was a thread removed where people spoke about losses - of people, trust, faith, hope...
if we can't speak of these losses, these deep sadnesses, "out loud" in a (nominally) anonymous space where can we?
"professional counselling" might be the default answer but speaking personally, sharing with my peers the difficulties we've faced and our ability - or otherwise - to overcome them has been more useful than any other single thing.
when we can't speak we turn our sadness, anger and grief inwards. that never ends well.
