Is it me or is there something about hosepipes I just don't understand. I've bought and assembled another today (Amazon didn't say that hoselock ones need lots of screwing together). I've shoved end bits on to all the bits of pipe as tightly as I can. And still, when I connect it to the tap, it sprays water out from the connector as well as the hose. Last time I bought a brass tap fitting thinking maybe it was the plastic ones at fault. So, to wash my windows or car, I also have to wash my house wall every time with the spray from the tap. Am I being useless/unreasonable/dim and if so, can anyone tell me what to do before I waste another gallon or two of metered water
