😂 sounds like my Sunday so far in terms of plans and achievements, although I have watched evil genius on Netflix (very good if you like crime documentaries)

Bumble1830 · 20/05/2018 14:08

Oooh, is it good @FASH84? I've been looking for something new to watch.

All of this sounds more than reasonable. Lazy Sunday is good. . .

I have made a tray of chocolate Brownies. This is the pinnacle of my achievement today. Have been drinking coffee and tea in the garden. Might open a bottle of something interesting later.

ElfrideSwancourt · 20/05/2018 14:16

It's much too hot today to do anything on your list Bumble! You need to rest and have plenty of fluids in this weatherBrewWineWink

Nomad86 · 20/05/2018 14:24

I made pink lemonade! To be fair, I've drunk most of it too so does that count as two things off my to do list?

Highhorse1981 · 20/05/2018 14:28

Someones I have Sundays like that

And then I have a Sunday like today

Alarm at 6am
1/2 hour cardio work out
Housework
Breakfast
Met friend at 7.50am to go up church for 40 mins service
Home and housework
9.30 body pump class
50 minutes got yoga
Home for shower
Reheated beef bourguignon I made yesterday and prepped veg
Guests and children (back from my ex) arrived
Just finished lunch and now we are flopped outside in the garden

Brightermornings · 20/05/2018 14:29

I always have big plans for Sunday's but achieve very little. Working full time and as much extra as I can exercising and parenting a teenager alone means by Sunday I'm ready to get off the merry to round for a bit Smile

YANBU. Last lot of weekend visitors have just left, little one is napping and husband has popped out. I intend to lay on the sofa until I hear ‘MUUUUUMMMY!’ 😁

Bumble1830 · 20/05/2018 14:31

Nomad86 Yeah, course it does, well done you.
I suppose I have got dressed and put some washing on the line (and another load in the machine) so I have done something Wink

Brightermornings Thats exactly it, I have weekends off, but they tend to be catching up with housework and such. Im trying not to feel too guilty about doing nothing and actually having a day off.

Bumble1830 · 21/05/2018 08:15

And now it's Monday morning already... And I got not 1 thing done. 😒

It's Sunday again on the plus side it's bank holiday Monday. How's the to do list?!?!?

GreenTulips · 27/05/2018 10:01

Well I've put the dishwasher on and loaded the washing machine -

Will do the ironing or half of it soon

Apart from that I enjoy a lazy Sunday

BarbaraofSevillle · 27/05/2018 10:26

It's illegal to do housework in the UK when the weather is nice enough to sit in the garden or go out for a walk/to the beach. Fact.

But seriously, how much actually needs doing today more than making the most of the precious, rare, nice weather on a Bank Holiday weekend?

Hanging the washing out or doing however much gardening you can be arsed with is OK, I don't really mind hanging the washing out when it's nice as it almost feels like pottering in the garden and the cats always come for a play, but most proper inside housework can wait, surely?

Bumble1830 · 27/05/2018 15:14

@Brightermornings, I managed to do a few bits on the list, more have now been added... This list is neve going to end 🤦‍♀️

There's always next week..... 😑

Yeah!

Brightermornings · 27/05/2018 18:45

@Bumble1830 yep big plans but little done again. I've got a really busy week at work. I was out shopping yesterday it was so busy and I've enjoyed just being alone today. I've got some of Monday but that means getting my ass out of bed early!!
