Just checking in case I missed something. If you ordered "greeting cards" you'd expect a card, that you open and write a message inside as opposed to a postcard?
Just got 32 thank you postcards delivered and thought I had ordered actual cards 
Wondering if it's a cultural thing as the company I ordered them from are in Germany?
